You can't return fresh foods for refunds as they need to be kept in the 'cold chain'. If you have bought it, Tesco etc can't guarantee this for any other customer, if they accepted it back and put it back on the shelf.

Ohh Chameleon since i'm in a good mood i'll take this in the light hearted way i hope it was posted :rolleyes:

I used to post regular in the good old days of R&R but stopped because of the constant bickering and backstabbing - i actually carnt remember my old password - however knowing about this glitch i thought i would not only pass it to a few friends but also post on the board and simply re - registered. if your your "curiosity" needs to be satisfied and i can work out how to post an image i will glady post a copy of my receipt from tonight!!!!!

I bought some tonight and it worked for me if you want the store name feel free to pm but i dont want to state it here incase they clear the shelves. It worked on the smoked and unsmoked.

oh pooh just got back from 100 mile round trip, not working at wisbech k lynn or peterborough.

The reason its not working at all stores is probably because when a mistake like this happens head office emails all stores and asks the price deparpment to change the offer on the system as it takes a few days to action if H/O changes it.
But if the email doesnt make it to the P.I staff then it doesnt happen, maybe there is no P.I staff in (not good this close to the big day) or may be its just that no one has seen it.
So there goes , thats why its not working everywhere.

Must be fixed - not working for me this morning and had to go to CS for refund - blooming queue was a mile long at 9am this morning - it was manic in there :eek:
