A funny tale

Once upon a time.....
I was visiting the Law Centre (now defunct), it was in the backend of Sheffield (and that's not the joke!) with no through traffic. Painted on the brickwork of the building were the words PARKING and I assumed that I was good to park (albeit on a very very wide piece of tarmac - not causing a disruption or obstruction to anyone).
I received a parking ticket from the Council and I challenged it to the Magistrates Court. At the time I had recently had a baby - whom I was breastfeeding. I had no one to leave him with so I took him with me and asked if it were possible that he came into the Court with me. (It was a very long time ago, you understand and my first experience of these things).
Anyway, I appeared infront of 3 or 4 persons at the bench and the case began. A while in my son began to get restless and I asked if I could feed him - thinking nothing of it - so I began to very discretly feed him. Well the good persons of the Court nearly fell-off their benches. I was hurriedly ushered out of the Court and the hearing came to an abrupt end.
I was called back some weeks later and I said that they would need to provide some sort of facilities to care for my son while I attended Court. Whereas in fact they decided to drop the case against me.
The irony of a Law Centre advertising that clients could park on the extended pavement in the back and beyond falsely is crazy and next time you go to the Magistrates Court take a breastfed baby with you.
