Council tax woes

I followed the procedure as per MSE guide, to get my council tax code changed as I am in tax band F, and all other similar houses to mine (4bed) are D or E. All 5 bed houses are F and £150k more to buy. I Challenged last month and got a automated response saying, I had not supplied enough information (I had 5 addresses and their selling prices) So I did same again and added screenshots off the council tax website, of all the 4bed houses in my street, all in code D or E. Submitted that and got NO response at all.
Where do you go after that, if council ignore you. council is Hinckley and Bosworth, Leicestershire.

Keep at it, I'm with Hinckley and Bosworth (Ashby) I'm not sure they know what they are doing
I moved in February, I had paid up my council tax bill, therefore a refund due
My new property was one band lower, it didn't late me long to work out what the refund would be less the charge for the new one, to my surprise I received a bill
It took me one visit to the offices and 4 emails disputing their updates. One morning I received 4 identical letters in 4 identical envelopes plus the cost of the postage, their excuse when I complained of waste of money was they have no control over outside sources1 -
It is no use writing to the council, they do not deal with CT banding. You should be writing to the Valuation Office Agency (part of HMRC).If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1

All the LA do is bill you based on the band allocated by the VOA, as they are obliged to do by statute. They do not set the bands and have no power to alter them.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I would just like to say a BIG THANKYOU to Martin for his advice. Saw his program a few months ago, got curious and busy on the voa website and realised that we had been overpaying for 16 years (Band H, should have been and now is Band G). Followed the procedure, supplied the evidence and sure enough, 8 weeks later there's a letter through the post confirming the reduction. Within 24hrs, the council had refunded every penny overpaid direct into the bank. OVER THE MOON!!0
