    It is an awful idea and those who are signing it are doing it from an entirely selfish perspective, they are saying "I want to contribute less to society and I want more for myself". Considering that most people are already a net cost to the state, swinging that balance even further towards totally broken is a truly awful idea. 

    I say that as a higher rate taxpayer and a mortgage payer, so it would save me quite a bit of money, but saving me money does not make it right. 
    I see it working only if the Government is putting a charge of 32% on that property, something similar with HTB loan.
