Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Dry underfoot, forecast is for mainly dry day. Got a line of washing to peg out shortly.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was fish, new potatoes, veg/beans. Tonight I'm not sure.
Work wasn't too bad yesterday we'll see how today goes. I only have today and tomorrow morning to work then I have some holiday hours to use up so am off until Tuesday of the following week.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc.
Not quite as bright as yesterday but looking good this morning. Washing all dried yesterday, even washed the dressing gowns when I got home and they too are dry.
Hoovered out the inside of my car yesterday, it was starting to resemble a skip! Also put most of the sand down on the drive, thought two bags would do but need to open another so that's open and drying - hopefully it can be spread tonight.
Hope you're feeling better this morning Gers.
Well done on the bike ride Ruby.
Hope you enjoyed your chat Iris.
How are the poorlies today Snoozer?
Lots going on at work today so need to be on the ball. Take care. XX8 -
Good morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
Sending get well wishes to all our poorlies @Gers and the Snoozer family x
WFH today. Lots going on and a Voluntary Exit Scheme has just been announced with a very short window of 2 weeks. Not worth my while applying as only 4 years service plus our mortgage has just gone up again!
DDad has a cold so I'm keeping him in and dosing him up. I have a food shop coming at lunchtime. Apart from that, a very dull day. DH is in Birmingham and will be back late. Dinner will be SW creamy sausage pasta and there's ironing to do after work.
Hope your days are more interesting than mine!

Morning everyone it’s dull but supposed to brighten up later it doesn’t matter I’m off to work soon then straight to WW a girl who I go with has sent me a message last night to say she won’t be going her hubby has been poorly for two weeks and unfortunately it has turned into the worst possible news she was in a terrible state so I’ve told her I’m here for her any time of the day or night but it’s been a shock . My hubby is off for his post op this morning for his second new knee operation he had the other knee done just over a year ago so hopefully he will have a date for this one today . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing7

Morning all
Bright any sunny here and looks to be a nice day, I’ve got a pair of trainers in the wm so will hang them out once it’s finished.
My ladies and I went to a lovely garden centre yesterday and had a lovely hour looking round, I spent far too much money on plants and then we went for a short walk and they treated themselves to an ice cream 😃 I dropped one of them off at the station on the way back and the other one and I came back and planted the plants out, the garden is looking lovely now but I still have a few pots to fill.
Three people coming today and we are going to have a long walk along the beach and visit a cafe at the end and then walk back, we were going to paddle but there has been a sewage leak locally so we will stay on the beach instead.
I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3lb which I am pleased about 😃 still a way to go yet but getting there slowly.
Pork chops for dinner tonight I will have veg with mine and OH and dd will have some potatoes and veg.
Snoozer and Gers I hope you are feeling better x
Have good days all and take care xx7 -
Good morning folks, I've just lost a longish post so I feel like throwing my tablet out of the window - the keyboard is so sensitive, it has a mind of it's own.
Thinking of our poorlies, we seem to have quite a few. Sorry to hear about your friend's bad news Izzy.
You did well in that bike ride Ruby, that would have killed me off!
Glad you enjoyed the club Iris.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Morning folks.I feel so much better today, still coughing but not so often and not so badly. Thankfully colds don't last too long. Yesterday was a wipeout, a day of nose-blowing, drinking water and coughing too much. I did another COVID test which was negative, thank goodness. I'm the only person I know who hasn't had it yet!In the early evening I raised a toast to my beloved DM. Later on the chap up the hill brought me a trailer load of seasoned hardwood logs down. He worked hard to put them all in the big barn so got rewarded with a large dram. I now have more than enough wood for winter. I haven't lit the stove since Easter weekend. As I feel better I briefly contemplated re-booking the exercise class but have decided against it as I've got another one booked for Thursday. I'm going up to Oban to collect an M&S order of new bedding.Izzy - what a shock for your friend.Coxy - I hope that your Dad feels better soon.Snoozer - has the virus spread? I hope not.Happy Tuesday to all.8

Morning all. Productive day yesterday, booked a roofer for a quote tomorrow, zoomed the architect for the final drawings, just emailed them now with final info. Now we have to go and find a kitchen design. First lot of washing is on and I have to go and find some borax somewhere, I can never remember where I usually get it from. And a visit to a local GC for me...so not a strenuous day by anyone's imagination...I expect garden pottering is on the cards too.Gers, glad you're feeling the tiniest bit better. Scarlet, hope your infection has been shown the door. snoozer, better? Izzy, how awful for her, it's never news you want to hear. Ruby, well done on the weight loss and your job sounds so good
Hope TA and nanny are having fun..take care all, enjoy the warm weather! Never thought I'd be saying that again in the depths of winter...

The worst of the radiotherapy side effects seem to be over. Some improvement in the area treated but not brilliant. Have been offered some reflexology which is so kind and I have decided that my nails are a disgrace so have booked a home manicure. I have given in and ordered some mini meals from Wiltshire farm foods as I often haven’t the energy to cook so I am now in the process of clearing some space in the freezer
Gers your latest trip sounds fascinating, glad the cold is improving6 -
