Gambling and mortgages

I'm sure it's been done to death, but I want to know what effect gambling has on mortgages, when not directly using bank accounts.
I do a bit of match betting, however, I use my pay-pal account as a middle man, so there is no gambling activity on any statements.
The amounts are quite small, but presumably, keeping this away from my statements shouldn't have an impact?

Is there anything showing on your bank statements that look like unknown income? If you have large random amounts being paid in a mortgage provider might be curious what's generating that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. No - I've made one deposit into my paypal account, then deposit from my paypal into betting accounts. I then do the reverse, and move money from betting account into the paypal, and once every few months deposit a smallish amount bank into my bank account.Brie said:Is there anything showing on your bank statements that look like unknown income?
