@COYI123 Glad to hear it's gone through.

As a broker, Halifax is consistently one of the better mainstream lenders for straightforward apps, processing is very quick, turnaround time ranging between 1-3 days on recent apps.

    I really dont like Halifax.
They seem to have outsourced a lot of their underwriting.
    I dont like their system.
I dont like that I have to email them rather than be able to call.

If it goes smoothly and in fairness, the vast majority of times it does everything is fine. But when you get an email with something really vague but then no number to call and nobody calls to discuss, its very frustrating.

Yeah sounds annoying that you can’t have a number to call , surely you could get through to them over the phone somehow no?

We applied for our remortage to Halifax online ourselves and the process was very simple. We had the mortgage offer through in 3 days from application.

The offer time was good but the time that the legal company that Halifax uses, takes to do things is, quite frankly, shocking.
