TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS Radio –SPIDER VERSE– 2023” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

 

2.     Competition  – Online 2023

 

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS	Online at https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/   Online entry is free of charge.   Entries are restricted to one entry per person, per entry route. This means each entrant can enter a maximum of two times.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	In order to be eligible to win, entrants must go online to https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/ and correctly answer the question, related to the Spider Man: Across the Spider-verse trailer.   All valid entries will be pooled, and the winner will be chosen by electronic random draw from all those that correctly submitted by entering. online via https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Start Date and End Date.   From 17th May 2023 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to 6th June 2023 at 23:59 (“End Time”).   Entries received before the Start Date/Time or after the End Date/ Time will be invalid.   Winner Announcement:  The online winner will be contacted, via email, on the 7thof June 2023. or on request by emailing win@bauermedia.co.uk during the time the competition round sits within
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Specific Terms. If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. 5. THE PRIZE	There will be one winner of the competition, and they will win the following prize package:   Prize Package   Night Out Prize:  Prize package for 4 people includes:  Return chauffeured transfers from winner’s home to their nearest town/city (capped at a maximum of 25 miles)    Dinner at a top restaurant (to the value of £75 per person to cover food, drinks and service charge)       Drinks at a top bar (to the value of £50 per person)      4 x cinema tickets to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse    Terms and Conditions:  Winner and guests must travel at the same time with the same itinerary; Chauffeured transfers are capped at a maximum of 25 miles from the winner’s home address; Winner and guests must travel together from the winner’s home address and no pick ups/drop offs will be permitted on route; Winner and guests must be over the age of 18; Dinner available at the winner’s choice of restaurant or gastropub, to the maximum value of £75per person (£280 total) to cover food, drinks and any service charge; Drinks available at the winner's choice of bars or pubs, to the maximum value of £50per person (£200 total) to cover drinks and any service charge;  The prize excludes additional meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package; Cinema tickets are available at winner's choice of cinema and will be valid for as long as the film shows in cinemas. If the winner fails to book these in before the film finishes airing then this part of the prize will be lost. The cinema tickets do not need to be booked on the same evening as the rest of the prize should timings/ availabilty not work.  The chauffeured transfers, dinner and drinks all must be taken at the same time; All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred dates no later than six weeks prior; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available; The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday; Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time;   If the Prize Provider is delayed in, or prevented from, fulfilling any of the prize inclusions by reason of force majeure then alternatives of equal value will be offered to the winner; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. 5.       INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

6.       MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Specific Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Specific Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.
