Thought I'd share what is probably the best residence I've had the pleasure of helping out with. EnerPHit retrofitted detached house with 9.2 kW of Sharp 400W panels (w/ optimizers across 3 aspects) paired to a three phase 8kW SolarEdge inverter. On the hot water and heating front, a 5kW Vaillant Air Source Heat Pump will heat a 300L indirect cylinder and the home via underfloor heating + T22 radiators. No battery. £19K installed for the PV + heat pump + cylinder
The calculated heat loss is 10 watts per square metre at -2C. The owner will likely never pay for energy ever again! Droool!

That looks amazing!! Impressive fitting of panels around those dormers! My in-laws have a similar shaped roof and serious PV envy so I’ll show them these to show it can be done 👍Smart Tech Specialist with Octopus Energy Services (all views my own). 4.44kW SW Facing in-roof array with 3.6kW Givenergy Gen 2 Hybrid inverter and 9.5kWh Givenergy battery. 9kW Panasonic Aquarea L (R290) ASHP. #gasfree since July ‘231

Cheers!
Not as much consumption as we are used to but yes, they would. That said, they will earn a substantial credit during the summer months via Flux (forecasted between £2.3- £2.8K p.a.) and will consume a fraction of it during the winter months, effectively making the grid their "battery", feeding 50-60 kWh a day of energy to it during the warmer months when it is "dirtiest" and taking far less from it in the colder months when it is much greener.- 10 x 400w LG + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial Panels + SE 3680 HD Wave Inverter + SE Optimizers.
