Is anyone able to get through to this body?  I have tried both the free number and the outside uk no. but it just goes round and round on a loop if you choose option 4.  I have 43 years full contributions but am missing 6 years and I am trying to find out whether it is worth my while paying the outstanding sums.  Unfortunately, if you choose to write in to them it says it takes 8 weeks!  Any help gratefully received.

What exactly does your state pension forecast show?

    https://www.gov.uk/check-state-pension

    Amount accrued to 5/4/22 (23)?

How many NI Qualifying Years pre 6/4/16?

    And from 6/4/16 to 5/4/23?

Tax year in which you reach SPA?

    Any COPE shown?
  • Hi Xylophone,  I have 39 years pre 2016 and 6 years after of which 4 are not full years.  I reached SPA in 2022.  I am not sure what COPE is?

    Contracted Out Pension Equivalent.

Were you ever a member of a contracted out pension scheme?

What was your weekly amount in the tax year 2022/3?

    And currently?

As you have already reached SPA, then I don't think the Future Pension Centre will be able to help you - you need to contact the Pension Service.
    Contact the Pension Service - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Unfortunately I donlt think they have the same front line call centre staff trained to answer queries over the phone - others on this board have reported that they will simply take your information and pass it back to some back office staff to deal with.
