not happy like some one else said, no padlock, no credit card details ! shame cas i really would like this but not at the expense of entering unsecured site
the site took me through to Barclaycard Secure when I checked out, i.e., the final bit when it asks my bank for the money and they put up a pop up screen saying we need final verification by a previously agreed password.0 -

Worked for me, thanks all!
For those who were worried, while I didn't go to the extreme lengths of taking a dump from a packet sniffer ('cos it's late & I'm tired), I did check out significant urls and IPs along the way, and it all looked kosher

Have Avon sorted out the site security now? On the last deal they had everyone could view each others details (orders, address etc) I hope this is all sorted and that they do not send out empty boxes then take the delivery charge from your bank account like last time. (I eventually got my refund but it didn't half take some work )0

Foofighter? Or, perhaps, FUDfighterFoofighter wrote: »Have Avon sorted out the site security now? This is progress. I've seen sock puppets on several threads today. That's an understandable marketing dept response to a consumer empowerment site. Oh, and fair play to FUDfighter for covering multiple bases, it wasn't badly crafted at all.
The next stage, will be some engagement a little higher up the food chain.....0 -
This is a complex area of law and it hinges around what is called an invitation to treat. This means the retailer is inviting the customer to make an offer that the retailer doesn't have to accept.
However, if they have taken your money, then it is a contract and they do have to send the items, but only then.0 -
Well I've given it a go as well,
Fingers crossed:j0
