scoobies?

i have been enlighten by my children and my neice the craze of "scoobies".

does anyone knoe the cheapest place to get them?

i have just purchased an ebook of ebay.

I'm sure this craze is simular to the french knitting craze of my younger days (mine was a homemade 4 nails in a bobbin>>> )

My cousins are all into them. Our pound shop sells them and I'm informed thats the most you want to pay for some lengths of plastic string type things.

Have a look in the Freebies board for an ebook that one kind MSE user will email you.

Just laid eyes on my first scoobies yesterday in Tesco, 97p for a packet.

I picked it up, thought about my 14 year old then put it back down. Been suffering from sinus problems for the past fortnight and fighting with a 14 year old over bits of plastic are not top priority at the moment :p

How many do you get for your £ in the pound shop. I've seen them at 35 for £1 on the market. Ds1's school crazes are back onto Crazy bones again - and I still haven't finished giving him the Yu-Gi-Oh cards I bought off ebay!

Similar, but quite distinct. I was doing both French knitting and scooby-doos "when I were a lass!"

my kids convinced me to get them some scoobies me, husband and two friends did not have a clue as to what to do with them, took them round to my parents who happily told me they had loads of fun doing scoobies as kids, as for me ive never seen them before and still have not managed to make a scoobie, we have placed them at the back of the cupboard, bit mean i know but better than kids laughing at us for not being able to make a scoobie!
