I do countless hours of voluntary work every month, but was keen to download the App this morning and get going!
Locally I was disappointed - I won't go into why, but did note there are ongoing opportunities so its worth finding something that suits you.

Personally I’m keen to do less voluntary work rather than more! Apparently I’m not alone as stepping down seems to be one of the side effects of Covid. Making us all ponder a re-set I suppose.

Same.
I do find it rather annoying when the highest-paid charity sector workers in the country are telling us we should be giving up our limited free time to do MORE work for free while we’re being underpaid for the work we’re already doing and burnt out after almost a decade and a half of austerity, COVID and record inflation.
In a decent society, most of this free labour were being asked to do would be somebody’s paid job.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I don't mind volunteering as long as it's for a worthy cause and doesn't feel like a waste my of time.Eta: I've just looked again and there is loads! Including St Vincent's charity shop - where I've had one too many poor experience's.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
