will a new loan affect a mortgage application?

if i apply for a personal loan soon before a full mortgage application is it likely to affect acceptance of the mortgage ?

    It will reduce the amount that they are wiling to lend as a mortgage, depending on other factors it could be the difference between getting a mortgage and not.

    Yes of course they would as they do a hard credit check during your mortgage application.

    your credit file will alert them, not worth it?
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
