@Screwdriva - I have checked pylontech battery compatibility with inverters and unable to find solarEdge. It looks SolarEdge inverter are only compatible with High Voltage batteries such as LG.

Let me know if there is latest compatibility list for pylontech?

It's quite common to install an AC/DC controller for Pylontech compatibility with SolarEdge inverters. You have other battery options like SolarEdge's own battery or the Tesla Powerwall but these cost much more.
    -  10 x 400w LG Bifacial + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial + 2 570W SHARP Bifacial + 5kW SolarEdge Inverter + SolarEdge Optimizers. SE London.

    -  Triple aspect. (33% ENE.33% SSE. 34% WSW)

    -  Viessmann 200-W on Advanced Weather Comp. (The most efficient gas boiler sold)

    Thanks @Screwdriva

I am a bit concern why all other inverter brand are listed except SolarEdge.

Actually,  none the inverters I recommend are on that list (Enphase/ Victron / SolarEdge/ SMA/ GivEnergy or Fronius). Frankly, knowing what I do of Pylontech, I'm not surprised.

It will work fine with the AC/DC controller.

Victron are fully compatible, and you don't have to mess around with expensive and unreliable micro inverters.
    8kW (4kW WNW, 4kW SSE) 6kW inverter. 6.5kWh battery.

You're preaching to the converted. I'm a fan of Victron too!

  • I have got a Solax X1 Hybrid G4 with 15kwh battery and 5.2kw peak solar. Very happy with it so far, even though it has not been in for that long.
