Porting rejected - product transfer ?

Previous responses state I would be unable to port our nationwide mortgage due to a drop in income ( now self employed on lower income and less than 2 years ).
We are desperate to move, and have savings to make up the loss in income and to add more of a deposit.
Would it be possible to product transfer to a new property. I am aware this would involve erc from current deal ( 2.19% ) and increased rate ( approx 4 % ).
