Natwest Mortgage April 2023

Hello.

I applied through a broker on 22/4/23. The hard search was done the same day. On 25/4 they asked for my partner's bank statement which was sent on the next day and again on 27/4, they asked some questions about 3 transactions (2 related to payments for personal finance - paid in full before the application was sent, and 1 related to receiving money for car sale - the car was sold to the dealer) . They also requested my p60 from 2022 to verify employment and bank statement to confirm my salary and 3 month' business bank statements. Everything was sent the same day together with a confirmation that the personal finances were paid in full. I wonder what the processing time is. Unfortunately, my broker does not want to share with me the ref number of my application which allows me to track the process. I live in Scotland so the process can be slightly different than in England. (my partner is a company director (Ltd) , and I have been employed for his company since 2018. ) TIA

I am aware of it but just wonder how accurate it is?

Thank you. Does it look the same with self employed (shareholder and director of Ltd) and employed but with the same company ?

Our application went in 24/4 and hard search was done on same day. We had a letter today asking us if we had applied for mortgage with them if so do nothing. Broker says they have nearly ticked everything off just waiting for my gifted deposit letter to be rewritten correctly.  Hopefully a decision will be made this week if not early next I spose.

My broker said that they would review additional documents by the end of yesterday or today (4/5). Our case is complex as my partner is a director and I am employed within his company. We have not received any letter. Hope you will get your decision asap.

May I ask if the letter you received contains a ref number to track your application?

Have you not received a copy of the application from your broker? The app number is in the top left corner.

I can understand his point of view as maybe the refusal is because of his bad experiences with clients in the past, who contacted the lender on their own and made things worse. However, I would feel much calmer and more secure if I could track it :(

No I have not. He also refused to provide me with a ref number as he said it is for him to track and advise
