Tickets for the Edinburgh Tattoo

Hi All,

I am hoping to book tickets for the Edinburgh tattoo between the 17th-19th of August. Can anyone recommend good seats that are reasonably priced? i took a look online and there were some at very high prices and I wasn't sure how good the seats are for the lesser priced tickets.

Thanks in advance.

The arena isn't that large, maybe half the size of a football pitch.

Depending on your budget I'd go half way along one side, they get cheaper the further back you go.

    What's Band D like? I don't want to spend £100 on a ticket.

The performance fills the whole space, so any seat will give you a decent view of much of the action. The more expensive seats give you a central view so you can see everything; cheaper seats mean you are further away/will have some restrictions, but it shouldn't spoil your enjoyment of the overall spectacle - and it is indeed spectacular.
