Need advice

So June last year I was on a Stag Du in Newcastle… I had a sod it moment & bought some Nike Vapormax £184.50 (Checked bank statement) Size Shop! been wearing them & using them normally! The bubble on the right had side at the back has popped, moved since so not sure where receipt is,

what are my options or is it a loss cause?

I think you should contact Nike for an opinion. They suggest they want to hear from you if you have issues with Vapor max shoes within 2 years. However be prepared for them to say they have had excessive wear ( over 350 miles) or been subjected to inappropriate sharp objects.
I suspect you are beyond statutory rights and relying here on their goodwill.

You’ve coming up to 12 months wear out of them. You’re paying for the name rather than anything else. You’d also have to pay to demonstrate there was an inherent fault to take it any further.
Maybe just concentrate on not buying expensive trainers when you’ve had a drink?

These are proper running shoes.  You can only expect a lifespan of 300-500 miles.  6-9 months if using them as intended, just for your serious training.

Just one result from a search "how long should running shoes last?"
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/5-signs-you-need-to-replace-your-old-running-shoes/

If you have used them as your "go to" leisure shoes to look good with your mates, every day wear will have worn the trainers out by now.  A cheaper pair of fashion trainers would do just as good a job, possibly even last longer.

How much training have you done?

If you have proof of purchase you should contact Nike customer services. Anything under 2 years old they will ask you to answer some standard questions about how often you wore them and what you wore them for etc
they will then send you a return label to post them free for inspection. Once received they will offer you a credit note to use on Nike.com. I think they only refund if you’ve bought directly from them but could be wrong.
Nike are very good and I have used this service a couple of times with no issues

You said you've lost the receipt. Do you have any other proof of purchase such as a credit card statement?
That would be for the Nike goodwill gesture. You are unlikely to get a full refund or a replacement after nearly 12 months of wear from the store even with a receipt unless you can prove that the item was inherently faulty. And even then they would knock off a percentage for the use you have had in the last 12 months.

To add to all the above, my colleague (who's too shy to post herself) says: "Nike are brilliant with refunds, so you should ALWAYS contact them if your shoes develop holes etc. Even if it’s been a year."

Good luck - please let us know the outcome.

It doesn’t matter if you didn’t buy from Nike. Nike stands by its products and says anything that develops a fault under 2 years they will inspect and offer refund or credit note. You will need proof of purchase though so if you don’t have a receipt then you can use a bank statement showing the transaction. Tell Nike that you have contacted size who will not help you and they will assist you with their own procedure. I have done it myself and it’s a pretty easy procedure. The best way to get in touch is online chat where they will usually ask you standard questions and may ask for photos of the fault. They will then issue a returns label for you to post the trainers back for inspection.
