Defaults are good, as the 6 year countdown to them vanishing has begun, and you don`t have a credit rating, so no need to worry there either

Defaults already? That seems super quick looking back through the thread ... do you mean first missed payments or actual default notices? Sorry ...I'm confused0

Defaults, 2 missed payments and then defaulting me 2 weeks later - for the most partlillypoo said:Defaults already? That seems super quick looking back through the thread ... do you mean first missed payments or actual default notices? Sorry ...I'm confused0 -
That's not a bad thing so I wouldn't complain.Wannabehousebuyer said:

But the guidance says three missed payments1 -
Are these marked as defaulted on your credit record? Have you received actual default notices?Wannabehousebuyer said:Defaults, 2 missed payments and then defaulting me 2 weeks later - for the most part2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Crikey that was very quick0

It does seem quick - I stopped payments last September & got my first default in February, the last of 6 came in April... Check all three of the credit agencies to get the full picture - the relevant dates will be on so you know when they will drop off.Wannabehousebuyer said:

I think it was because I was behind on payments anyway, then paying a payment and not paying again when I cancelled all the DD. so its likely this expedited it.
It's so nice to see my bills go out and actually be able to see money left and put savings in and have something spare. So freeing.
i've built up £1000 so far to start making offers later on down the line, and its looking hopeful for 2 of my affordability claims. so fingers crossed.
Deleted all my 'credit score' apps as it was far too depressing. just looking forwards to 7 years time when i am able to think about moving.

So, update!the debt collection companies letters are rolling in by the bucket load, lost my irresponsible lending complaint with both Zopa and ombudsman. Aqua/fluid haven’t even given me a final response yet, 5 months later!!Do I start responding to the collection people are let them contact me a bit more (in the hope of better settlement?!) I have had one company offered 25% settlement, do they usually do this in instalments? Couple of lenders not even defaulted me yet - hopefully they are all in my Xmas so I can start my 6 years in jan.My ADHD brain and all these letters combined are just recipe for disaster but hoping I can push my way through this
as ever all of your amazing advice is always greatly appreciated0
