Genuine Epsom carts are dearer than £6.99 (For C46 anyway) where did you get £6.99 from?0

Your best bet is to google the printer model and see what ink prices come up, and check eBay.
Never pay shop prices and the non-genuine inks work perfectly well (I use Epson compatible instead of genuine, can get up to a dozen on eBay for the cost of one genuine Epson cartridge!)0 -
Poppycat please accept my apologies for spamming.
Did not read the small prints. I have removed the signature now. Sorry.
C46 is an old printer and the cartridges they accept our different to the one i have suggested. This is due to the fact epson changing their cartridges. In new printers that i suggested black cartridges has only 7.4ml ink and colours has 5.5ml inks and as such they look cheap to buy but you will be lucky to get 10 photos out of them.
Most consumers look at the prices and not the quantity of ink in the cartridges.0 -
If you want a reliable, good quality printer with cheap to buy cartridges get an epson, also you could be super good to the environment and get em refilled which is just as cheap, or buy a refil kit and refill em yourself, first attempts always messy :P but once you get hang of it, its a doddleLive for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0

You can sometimes get the refill ink kits in poundland! Ive used them before and they have worked well so far, with the added bonus of being able to refill several times from 1 purchase of £40
