Snapped Tooth
Options

Hello,
We are currently away on holiday and unfortunately one of my upper central front teeth has snapped off at the gum line.
The tooth was banged quite badly some years ago resulting in root canal treatment and a metal post being put through the tooth. I was told just three months ago that the root had receded heavily and I would need either further Root canal Treatment, a bridge or a dental implant.
I was hoping a dentist on here may be able to give an indication if the tooth can be saved or if I am now better going down the implant route.
To me, with the root receding and now have snapped in half at the gum level, I'm guessing my options are a bridge or implant?
Thanks,
Cam

Impossible to give any opinion without seeing it & X-Rays etc.
the opinion of the dentist you saw 3 months ago would be the one to seek once you get home. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.1
