On your latest MSE’s Money Tips you state “ SMI living with an adult carer: house gets 50% council tax discount”
This is misleading. I have just rung my council and you only get 50% if the person you care for is not a relative. So if you are a full time carer for your husband or wife you only get 25%, not 50% as you have claimed!!
