Alright guys
I am in need of some urgent advice if you don't mind please because I do really want a job
But the only issue that I have got on my CV is that I have been out of work for some time now October 22 - Now, But I have kept myself busy, buying and selling things to keep a little bit of money coming up etc.. I did put on my C that I was an eBay Professional seller (but I am not self employed, merely keeping myself a float) and haven't sold of them for a while, did most of the seller through gumtree, shopock, Facebook marketplace, etc (cash).
I just wanted to show that I have not just been sitting on my backside do nothing and have kept up with computers, etc, writing, admin, data entry, key checking and so...
Now I am just wondering how do I go about changing my CV so that I do not sound like a bum and who is really trying to get back out there in the real world of work

While actively job-hunting I have been enhancing my computer skills to improve my employability, and actively selling on ebay, gumtree and other online marketplaces to provide me with a modest income.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -

Hope you are well and thanks for your help.. If you don't mind can I send you over a copy of my CV for you take a look0 -
Hi, I'm not being funny but there are professionals you can approach to help you with a CV. You can find them by googling.
I think marcon's suggestion for what to put in the space you didn't want to leave blank is excellent. But if you want to get a job, don't you want compile your own CV for it?
There is some advice in the following link, from the government -

I hope you manage to find a job very soon. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. You are self employed if you are buying things to sell rather than just liquidating your old possessions... you dont have to register as such if your revenue (not profits) are under £1,000 but that doesnt change your legal status.byronwells said:But the only issue that I have got on my CV is that I have been out of work for some time now October 22 - Now, But I have kept myself busy, buying and selling things to keep a little bit of money coming up etc..
