Claiming HR tax relief on SIPP

For background, I'm employedIT and have a workplace pension where tax relief is applied but I also have a SIPP with vanguard where the first 20% relief is applied to contributions.

Does the workplace scheme use "Relief at Source" or "Net Pay"?

It's an LGPS pension so I think that's net pay?
You never mention net pay contributions to HMRC when it comes to tax relief.

You immediately receive the maximum possible tax savings each pay day with net pay.

Does anyone know if I can download the detail from the Vanguard site? I can only see the overall contributions for each year which I think includes the 20% relief already applied
Your Annual Benefit Statement breaks down this information. This is provided at tax year end and will be found in your "documents" section.

I've found my annual benefit statement on the vanguard site for 2020/21 and 2021/22 but it looks like they're created towards the end of each financial year for the previous year. I was hoping to claim the relief for 2022/23 but will I have to wait until next march to get the 22/23 statement or is there a way to get early or claim without it?
