Resolve Call have responded to the second letter I sent saying "we confirm your account has been closed" with no further explanation or reasoning given. However the letter still shows the balance as outstanding with an option to pay with standing order and states you may be contacted in due course by Arrow Global Limited. I guess I don't understand why they closed the account in response to my letters only to pass it on another collector?

As I said in an earlier post, Capquest (who are part of the Arrow Global Group) own your debt, they just assigned it to Resolvecall to chase, as is normal practice.

Resolvecall have basically thrown in the towel and returned the account to Capquest/Arrow.

They will have reported to Arrow about your dispute over the debt, and Arrow will now decide what to do with the account.

You may, or may not hear anything further about this matter, as the July deadline for guidance change on statute barred debts is looming fast.

Cheers, I did send one of the first prove it letters to Capquest as well but they never responded.
  • Did they ever respond after this?
  • I’m guessing not - the OP hasn’t been active on here since.
