EV + solar panels

We currently have solar panels and are on an octopus outgoing tariff. We pick up our EV this week. We will in the main be doing shorter journeys with the odd long one. I looked at EV tariffs but you can't have with outgoing. for those with both which do you find most beneficial.

Octopus Intelligent or Go are excellent options but neither allow the lucrative export. Have you modeled using Flux and charging the car at the same as the battery? If you don't own a heat pump or have high consumption, Flux should outperform the EV tariffs.
Oh and I'd recommend getting a Zappi charger if you don't already have one.

Yes we have a zappi charger, but not compatible (neither is the car) with octopus intelligent.

Thank you - i may look at it - our peak energy usage probably coincides though. Wonder if there is an easy way to compare from our current data0
