Halifax bank statements - 95 LTV

Hi,

We are going ahead with a mortgage with Halifax at 95 LTV through a mortgage broker.

What are peoples experience of Halifax asking for bank statements, or is it more common to just provide payslips?

We are both full time employed, with my pay the same each month and my partners varying slightly, due to NHS enhancements on top of their basic salary (although all agrees to the payslips).

Thanks

I haven't had a mortgage with Halifax, but high street lenders generally want to see bank statements so I can't see why Halifax would be any different.

Have you got something on your bank statements you don't want them to see?

had to provide just one payslip as bank with them, wife had to provide 3 months statement and 1 pay
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
