Is anyone able to recommend solar PV installers who cover South East London (or suggestions of installers to avoid)?

A lot of people on here have used Light Renewables. I am thinking of going with them also.16 x 410w (6.6kw) Sharp panels, 5kw inverter and 6.5kw battery installed in May 2023.1

I've introduced dozens of forum members to Light Renewables and some to Your Energy Your Way (mostly for Libbi batteries) as I enjoy a good relationship with both. Both offer good design, and a quick service but LR is much more hungry for business.
No unresolved issues with anyone I have sent their way. Even when a family member's inverter failed just after installation, they went over and above to resolve it within a month, at the peak of the component shortage last year.
I prefer these installers are they offer quality, non-Chinese brands as options at competitive prices. (Incase you're wondering, haven't been paid a penny to date).- 10 x 400w LG + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial Panels + SE 3680 HD Wave Inverter + SE Optimizers. SE London.

Screwdriva said:I’m seriously considering it - question is do I buy now or when I eventually get a heat pump. It will probably be the latter . .
Also, there will be actual user reports of how they perform, so there will be no unexpected surprises.
Someone posted on FB that there's no end user control other than inputting your smart tariff setting (force charge/discharge etc.), but until they actually get into end users hands not sure how true this is. There is a response from MyEnergi suggesting that it's true, which would be quite poor.4 Kwp System, South Facing, 35 Degree Pitch, 16 x 250W Solarworld Panels, SMA Sunnyboy 3600 Inverter, Installed 02/09/14 in Sunny South Bedford - £5600

I know Screwdriva has had good experiences with Light Renewables but mine was poor and others have also had problems.See example threads:Light Renewables offered me a referral fee if I recommended them to others, but I've never felt inclined to do so.N. My experience is that they've really improved their operations in the recent past. Or atleast their Trustpilot scores would suggest so.
Ofcourse it doesn't take away from your negative experience, which is genuinely regrettable.- 10 x 400w LG + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial Panels + SE 3680 HD Wave Inverter + SE Optimizers. SE London.
