Terms & Conditions

1. This competition is promoted by HQ, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers Limited (“HarperCollins”), Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow G64 2QT.

2. This competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, except employees of HarperCollins (or their parent, subsidiaries or any affiliated companies) and their immediate families.

3. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to enter this competition.

4. This is a competition to win the following prize: One (1) copy of Bish Bash Bosh! by Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, one (1) copy of Veggiestan by Sally Butcher, one (1) copy of The Green Traveller by Richard Hammond, and one (1) copy of The Sustainable Home by Ida Magntorn. 

There is one (1) of each Prize available.

5. The Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to availability. No guarantee is given as to the quality of the Prizes.

6. No cash or other alternatives to the Prizes are available and HarperCollins reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to substitute either of the Prizes with a prize of equal or greater value.

7. To enter, follow the instructions on the competition page. 

8. The competition opens 21st April 2023 and closes at midnight on 30th April 2023. Entries received outside of these specific times and dates will not be accepted. 

9. The winners of the competition will be selected at random by a member of the Pavilion, HarperCollins marketing team from all entries that have complied with these Terms and Conditions.

10. HarperCollins will aim to adhere to the deadline for delivery stipulated below; however, if HarperCollins is unable to meet that deadline due to any circumstances arising as a direct or indirect result of the Coronavirus pandemic, and/or any other potential unforeseen factors outside of their control, they will ensure relevant timely communication with the winners and, in the unlikely event that delivery of the Prizes becomes impossible, HarperCollins will offer a reasonable substitute prize of equal or greater value.

11. Any application containing incorrect, false or unreadable information will be rejected. Any applications made on behalf of or for another person or multiple entries will not be included in the competition.

12. HarperCollins’ decision as to who has won the competition shall be final.

13. To obtain the name of the Prize winner after the closing date, please write to: Green bundle competition, HQ, HarperCollins Publishers, The News Building, 1 London Bridge Street, London, SE1 9GF.

14. By entering this competition you are agreeing that, if you win, your name and image may be used for the purpose of announcing the winner in any related publicity with HarperCollins, without additional payment or permission.

15. The entry instructions are part of the Terms and Conditions for this competition. By entering this competition, you are agreeing to accept these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions by you will mean that your entry will not be valid and you will not be allowed to enter this competition.

16. The winners will be contacted by email by 7th May 2023.If the winner cannot be contacted by that date, HarperCollins reserves the right to select another winner. HarperCollins will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the Prizes to the winners within one (1) month of each winner being notified that they have won the competition. However, HarperCollins is not liable for any delay in the delivery of the Prizes.

19. Any dispute relating to the competition shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
