Terms & Conditions – Jet2holidays ‘Bid for a Break’ Promotions

These promotions are promoted by Jet2holidays Limited (registered number: 04472486) whose registered office is

at Low Fare Finder House, Leeds Bradford Airport, Yeadon, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS19 7TU ("Jet2holidays" or

"we"). By entering a promotion, you are deemed to accept these terms:

1. Each promotion except for the promotion which is due to take place on the week commencing 01 May 2023

opens at 09.00 on a Monday and closes at midday on the Thursday of that week as further detailed below in

the ‘Prizes’ section. For the week commencing 01 May 2023 and due to the bank holiday, that promotion will

open at 9.00 on 02 May 2023 and close at midday on 04 May 2023. At the time of publication of these terms

and conditions, it is anticipated that Jet2holidays may hold more promotions and in the event that further

promotions are held, Jet2holidays shall republish these terms and conditions with updated holiday details.

Jet2holidays may cancel or extend a promotion without notice at any time and is not obliged to hold any more

promotions.

2. Entrants to a promotion must be residents of the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and must be aged

18 years or over. Employees and officers of Jet2holidays, Jet2.com Limited, Jet2 plc or any companies within

the same group or any organisation professionally involved with a promotion (or in each case, their close

relatives) are not eligible to enter. An entrant may only be entered into a promotion once but they may enter

as many promotions as they like.

How to enter:

3. To enter a promotion for an opportunity to purchase a holiday at a lowest unique bid price, you must go on the

Jet2holidays app between the times detailed in paragraph 1 above and follow the directions to the entry page

of “Bid for a Break”, where you must then complete the relevant form, entering the price you think will be the

lowest unique bid for the holiday displayed and as detailed within these terms.

4. Jet2holidays shall not be responsible for and shall not have to accept entries which do not reach it before the

closing date or are illegible, incomplete or corrupted, or cannot be submitted for any reason. You must have a

valid email address to participate in a promotion.

Choosing a Winner:

5. There will be one winner of each promotion. The winner of a promotion will be either (i) the person who has

entered the lowest unique bid for the advertised holiday in that promotion; or (ii), in the unlikely event of there

being no lowest unique bid, Jet2holidays will take the price that has been entered by the lowest number of

people and randomly select a winner from those entrants who have entered that price. Where there are two or

more prices with jointly the lowest number of entrants who have bid on the respective amounts, the winner will

be randomly selected from the entrants who submitted the lowest of those prices.

6. The winner will be notified by email or using the other contact details provided to us within 2 hours after the

closing time for the relevant promotion. We will try our best to contact the winner during the specified time.

7. Once contact has been made with the winner, they will be offered the chance to purchase the holiday that was

the subject of the particular promotion they have won and they will be required to confirm whether they would

like to purchase that holiday at the price of their winning bid or not, within 24 hours of having been notified of

their win. The winner is under no obligation to purchase the holiday.

8. If the winner does confirm that they would like to purchase the holiday at the winning price, Jet2holidays will

take the winner through its holiday booking process, which will be subject to Jet2holidays' and Jet2.com's

terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditions and

http://www.jet2.com/terms respectively (together, the “Terms and Conditions”).

9. If the winner (i) cannot be contacted or is not available; (ii) has not confirmed whether or not they would like to

purchase the holiday at the winning price within 24 hours of having been notified of their win; or (iii) does not

want to purchase the holiday at the winning price, then the winner will forfeit their prize and will no longer be

entitled to purchase the holiday at the winning price. If this happens, Jet2holidays can select another winner

using the same selection criteria described above.

10. For transparency we will generally publish the surname and county of prize winners online. However, if you

are a winner and you object to us doing this or would like us to reduce the amount of information we publish,

then please let us know when claiming your prize

at the time of travel. The prize also includes transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel

and a 22kg hold-baggage allowance per person on each flight.

ii. If the winner opts to book, this holiday must be booked by 18th May 2023 and travel to and from the

destination must be completed between one of the following bands subject to availability (including all

return travel):

• 13/06/2023 – 18/07/2023

• 31/07/2023 – 14/08/2023

• 05/09/2023 – 19/10/2023

• 16/04/2024 – 23/05/2024

• 11/06/2024 – 18/07/2024

2. The prize for the promotion commencing on Monday 24th April 2023 and finishing on Thursday 27th

April 2023 is the opportunity to purchase the following holiday at the winning bid price:

i) A 7-night holiday on a Half Board basis in a Standard Double Room with Garden View at the 4+*

Porto Platanias Luxury Selection in Crete, Greece for 2 adults; at least one of the party must be over

the age of 18 at the date of departure.

ii) The holiday includes return flights from any UK Airport from which Jet2.com flies to Crete (Chania)

Airport (CHQ). The prize also includes transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel and a

22kg hold-baggage allowance per person on each flight.

iii) If the winner opts to book, this holiday must be booked by 25th May 2023 and travel to and from the

destination must be completed between one of the following bands subject to availability (including all

return travel):

• 01/05/2023 – 25/05/2023

• 13/06/2023 – 18/07/2023

• 31/07/2023 – 07/08/2023

• 05/09/2023 – 19/10/2023

• 01/05/2024 – 23/05/2024

3. Due to the bank holiday on Monday 1st May 2023 the promotion will run from Tuesday 2nd May 2023

and finish on Thursday 4th May 2023. Any submissions received on Monday 1st May 2023 will not be

counted. The prize for this promotion is the opportunity to purchase the following holiday at the

winning bid price:

i) A 7-night holiday on an All-Inclusive basis in a Classic Family Room at the 4* plus Jupiter Albufeira

Hotel in The Algarve, Portugal for 2 adults and 2 children (Up to 12 years on the date of return); at

least one of the party must be over the age of 18 at the date of departure.

ii) The holiday includes return flights from any UK Airport from which Jet2.com flies to Faro (The Algarve)

airport (FAO). The prize also includes transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel and a

22kg hold-baggage allowance per person on each flight.

iii) If the winner opts to book, this holiday must be booked by 1

st June 2023 and travel to and from the

destination must be completed between one of the following bands subject to availability (including all

return travel):

• 18/04/2023 – 25/05/2023

• 13/06/2023 – 18/07/2023

• 31/07/2023 – 14/08/2023

• 05/09/2023 – 19/10/2023

11. The prize, being the opportunity to purchase the holiday at the winning bid price, cannot be transferred.

12. If the holiday is purchased it will be subject to the Terms and Conditions, the Package Travel and Linked Travel

Arrangements Regulations 2018 and any other applicable law. If the winner wishes to add any extras to the

holiday as it is stated above, this must be done after the initial booking and any such amendment will also be

subject to the Terms and Conditions, the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018

and any other applicable law.

13. Holidays are subject to availability. Upon booking their holiday, the winner will be required to select their

preferred travel dates subject to any restrictions referred to in clause 11, 12 or 13 above, as applicable, and

Jet2holidays will endeavour to meet the winner’s request, taking into account flight and hotel availability,

Jet2holidays’ and any applicable hotelier’s operation and any other relevant factors which may affect

availability.

14. Transfers to and from the airport in the UK are not included unless otherwise specified. Travel insurance is not

included. Winners are advised to take out their own insurance.

15. All passengers must have a valid passport to travel, and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry

requirements including any medical/health screening requirements or similar.
