Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Dry underfoot, and supposed to be warmer and dry this week - we'll see. Wash load ready to peg out.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Lunch yesterday was a lunch out for a relative's birthday very nice it was too. Tonight will be HM chicken and mushroom pie, chips/potatoes, veg and gravy.
Back to work today, hopefully not such a stress full week. We'll see.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Damp and dreary this morning but very mild. White wash in the WM but that can stay inside.
Back to work for me today, not really feeling refreshed after the holiday but needs must. After my swim and small shop yesterday I did nothing (apart from have a little snooze). Salad made for packed lunch today but I've been a bit off my food - not like me at all.
Hope you have a good last day Coxy, how many miles have you walked?
Missing Nanny too.
Hugs to you Florence.
Enjoy Monday if you can. Take care. XX10 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. CAMELOT I hope today isn't too strenuous. It's not fair to be ill over the holiday is it. It feels very mild here too this morning. Sadly no sun but neither is any rain forecast.
I am in a bit of a rush this morning with early doors vet appointment for this expensive cat. It'll be another injection no doubt. Once back home another rush around as I am meeting DF for lunch, brought forward from tomorrow as she is visiting family. Looking forward to catching up after she wasn't up to meeting last week because of losing her lovely dog.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. Hope NANNY is ok and just having a break from our waffle. Take care all be safe xx

Morning folks.Yesterday was fairly cold and wet, not too inspiring. I wrote a load of overdue emails, watched recorded programmes and generally slobbed around. I toyed with the idea of doing some shopping as my fridge is practically empty but I've got so much in cupboards and freezer that I resisted. The downside is that my dry stocks are of rice and pasta which I normally don't eat but had some the other day. Anyway, before bed I had a lovely shower and fell into a warm bed. Today is already much less cold though still grey.No immediate plans for today though there is much to be done, or maybe just to think about doing. Can't get over the hump of thinking to actually doing! My thoughts are with our poorlies and missing. We are slowly whittling away. Happy Monday to all.10

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
It's a grey start here, dry though. Yesterday wasn't bad, at least it didn't rain.
We might go to Alnwick Gardens to see the cherry blossom while it's still there.
Sorry to read that you still don't feel up to much Camelot, hope you get through the day
Hope everyone has an ok day.
Take care folks.11 -
Still feeling very sad about Nelski ,
having a lot of problems with my hip and will be ringing the physios when they open at 9
will definitely be requesting a referral to the orthopaedic surgeon
I can’t go on like this anymore ( in my area access to the orthopaedic specialist for hip problems is via the physio not the GP )
hope you all have a good day11 -
I hope you can get a referral Sue, and don't have to wait too long for treatment.
A lady I know has just had a replacement, and she waited 4 months.
Constant pain is so debilitating.10 -
Morning everyone enjoy your last day of walking Coxy it’s awful when you are in pain constantly sue my hubby had a new knee just over a year ago and he’s now waiting for the other one to be done he has rheumatoid arthritis and is in constant pain and it does get him down he’s really struggling at the minute we have just had a letter back from the hospital after the doctor got in touch with them it just said they understand what he’s going through but unfortunately they are getting through the long list they have as fast as possible. Meeting my friend for a coffee this morning I’m not at work until 12 TA enjoy your catch up with your friend. It’s slightly warmer but dull this morning what a long winter it has been I was just saying yesterday we have been lighting our fire on a night for over six months and by the forecast it’s supposed to turn cold again this weekend. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing9

Morning all
Dull and overcast here but the sun is due out later, I have a wash on the go and that can be hung on the line.
Im still feeling really down over losing our lovely Nels several times over the weekend I thought oh I must text Nels that, we spoke most days and I knew she was very poorly but thought she would have longer with us, Rest in Peace my lovely friend I miss our chats 💔
Two ladies coming today and tbh I am really not feeling it but I will put a smile on and make sure the ladies have a good day.
Dinner tonight will be roast pork slices left over from yesterday with sw chips and peas, I will cut the chips this morning.
Have good days all and take care of yourselves xxx10 -
Morning all, feels a lot warmer here but grey. Thanks for starting nmlc. Camelot hope you're ok at work.Ruby, hugs for you, horrible losing a friend.Scarlet, cherry blossom sounds just the thing to cheer us up.SuffolkSue, my Dh is in a similar position to you now with his hip, and also needs a new knee. It was the physio that referred him for Xrays, scans etc. on both. He is having an injection in his hip this week, at a private hospital( but as NHS ) in our town that seems to be taking up some of the backlog. Hope you get some joy.DGS was back off hol yesterday. He's had a great time. We watched DGDs match and then DS went to pick him up and called with them on the way back, and they both had an ice lollyAfter that DH peeled and parboiled the spuds for roasties, put them on a tray and put them in the oven but didn't switch it on as it was too early. I only realised when I went to get a baking tray out later and found condensation all over the oven. I wiped the door etc but when I went to switch it on later it tripped the fuses and then wouldn't switch on without tripping everything! We left the door open overnight but it's still the same so will have to get someone up. It only tends to be used for Sunday roast these days as I mainly use my ninjagrill and electric pressure cooker, but I def need it for the turkey at Crimbo!Leftover curry tonight so it's quick and easy after we've picked up DGS.Sending warm wishes to those who are downhearted or poorly x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning everyone
Bit dull this morning but the sun is meant to get out later. I'm back at work this morning but not feeling up to it at all - I'm aching all over and feel really tired. Probably my own fault for going out both days over the weekend I I usually follow a busy day with a lazy day. This Long Covid thing is bloody annoying.
Lovely time at The Ugly Duckling ballet with little one yesterday - it was a childrens ballet so only lasted 45 minutes. She really enjoyed it but did wonder why no one spoke, as I thought she would - she danced all the way up to the bus stop afterwards. We also went into Costa for a hot chocolate and a babychino, which she loves.
Scarlet enjoy Alnwick Garden - the blossom is well worth seeing
Well I'd better move myself and make my packed lunch for later. DD is going to give me a lift down to work. Hope everyone has a good day x10
