Voter ID

I had to post this here because I couldn't find a category in which my query would fit. I want to ask if a passport has to be up to date to use as ID when voting. My daughter has let her passport lapse because she's not planning to travel abroad and she says that, when asked for proof of age, only her date of birth is checked. She has no other photo ID.

Hi Eleanorus
The Electoral Commission website says:Out of date photo ID
https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter/voter-id/accepted-forms-photo-idYou can still use your photo ID if it's out of date, as long as it looks like you.
