Hi knowledgeable people!
We are trying to book one day return train tickets from Worthing to London, ideally to include tube travel as well, for Saturday for 2 adults and 2 kids (a 5 and 6 year old).
When we search on Nat Rain, Train Line, and any others we put in those parameters and it offers the groupsave option as the best price, but when we go through to checkout it changes the configuration to 3 adults and 1 child!
From Googling I can see that the Groupsave is for groups of 3 or more adults, but would we still be ok to use them with a group of 4 consisting of only 2 adults and 2 kids? I can't find anything to say whether we can or cant, but if we can't I don't understand why it's giving us this option!
Can anyone give us definitive advice please? We want to take to little girls to see the Frozen musical but don't want to get in trouble on the way!
Thank you!

No problem using Groupsave using an adult ticket for a child. The other child fare should be £2.
Book with a train operating company such as Southern and cut out middlemen such as Trainline as its easier should things go wrong.1 -
