Yesterday I made a huge step in admitting on this very forum i’m in debt and have a problem….
but I also have a solution and can be debt free in 2 years thanks to snowballing!

I’m going to have to cut back “do I really need this”.
So, Tuesday night is takeaway night at ours, rather than waste £40+ on a takeaway, I got chicken from leftover roast…. Bought £1 Chinese curry mix and made my own.
may seem a small victory but big step for me
welcome to hear of any other takeaways

Well done on the Fakeaway rather than take away. Probably tasted far better than the takeaway anyway - mine always do.
Another Fakeaway I really like is a KFC! I tend to use skinless, boneless thighs (easy enough to do yourself but a bit messy so might be worth just buying them to start with!). Chop into about 3 pieces each - I do 2 thighs each, egg and breadcrumb them and then either fry or bake in the oven. I add various herbs to the breadcrumbs or you can make things easier by just using some instant mash powder. You can use any mix of herbs/spices.
I serve with oven chips, corn on the cob and baked beans just like you'd get at KFC!
