Gift aid in tax return

in Cutting tax
This is first year I am planning to declare Gift aid in my tax return, as I donated a substantial amount throughout the year. What amount do I put in the tax return - the amount of my donation or the amount of gift aid the charity got on top of it?
For example I donated £50, gift aid amount on top is £12.50 - do I declare £50 or £12.50?
Many thanks!

You put £50 into the box on SA100. The software will gross it up.1
