Good morning folks.
The moon is huge, it's been shining so brightly all night.

The sun was out yesterday with a nippy wee wind to remind us it was still April. I drove up to Oban as I wanted to buy some Easter stuff. I don't normally but this year I have my closet friends coming up for a week, they are staying in a holiday cottage on the estate. Last time they came (pre my time with Mum) they brought all three children and had their car loaded to the top with stuff. Tomorrow it's just one child though he's now 22 years old. I met my friend when she was pregnant with him.Today I'm heading off to meet the lovely Camelot for some breakfast and then a little shopping. The day is promising more sunshine 🌞 so I'm hopeful for a good drive. I've got a new audio book on the go to keep me occupied on the drive.Happy Good Friday to all.10

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Have a lovely breakfast meet up with CAMELOT. Safe drive.
The sun is shining here too and the sky is blue. It's forecast to stay with us for the next few days so no excuses to put off the garden tidying yet again. Yesterday, although fine, the nippy wind was back with us so I brought forward the Friday Tidy instead and stayed indoors! But that has confused me as today feels like Saturday!
I left a gammon joint out defrosting to cook for today's lunch and it will keep me going over the w/e too. The stock will make a batch of lentil soup as usual. My favourite!
Have a good day folks and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. NELS sorry you have been hit by the lurgy but pleased you are now slowly on the mend. Take care all and be safe x

Morning All
Lovely sunny morning, washing is doing it's thing in the WM and should dry well outside today. I agree Gers, the moon was absolutely stunning last night and seemed so big.
I got back from London last night, I flew in and out of Luton which was really easy, the transport links are fantastic and will definitely do it that way again. The new baby is gorgeous and I loved spending time with him and his parents, they are doing really well.
I'll catch up with all your news later, looking forward to meeting up with Gers for breakfast. Have a Good Friday, take care. XX10 -

Morning all
Bright and sunny here but still a bit chilly, I have put a wash on this morning and it can go on the line for a bit.
Just having a cuppa and we are then going to get on with the renovations 😃 OH has to nip out and get some glue while I pack away the dresser and my precious bowl cupboard, they can all be packed away in boxes to keep them safe. Then it will be ripping off the tiles and skirting and then hopefully start laying the new floor, it’s going to take a few days but will be worth it.
JP for dinner tonight as I can just shove them in the oven and forget about them.
Gers and Camelot enjoy your breakfast xx
Have good days all and take care xxx10 -
Morning all, gorgeous day but cold. Didn't sleep well, and around 4.30 the police helicopter was going round in circles above us - DH didn't hear it!Not had chance to post as I've had get togethers with my cousins on Wednesday, and my oldest friend yesterday. I went into town to get little thank you gifts for my cousin, and DB/SIL who looked after the pooch when we went to Wemb1ey on Sunday. They all said I shouldnt have but it's nice to show your appreciation I think. Took DBs last night along with his birthday pressie, and spent a nice hour with them.My Okado order was delivered early yesterday, nothing missing, so we had the fish that came for tea.Still no joy getting back on my online banking- yet another message yesterday that didn't make sense to me so I think I'll wait and go in the bank again next Tuesday.I think once it's finally sorted I shall switch my accounts to somewhere else.DH has to pop to work for a bit this morning , and DS2 is popping in to borrow a blender. I might potter in the garden once the sun comes round.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)11

Morning everyone
Just having my breakfast and then will get sorted and go down to mam and dads for a cuppa and to do his banking .Then I need to go along to M and S for some bread and bananas...thats all I need but no doubt something else will jump into my basket!
I had a lovely day out with DD and little one yesterday - we went to a Toby carvery just outside Newcastle and had a lovely lunch. Then we went to a play centre little one is a member of - it's for disabled children and their families. She loves it there - there's trampolines, soft play, another play room full of toys and a huge outdoor play area. She had her face painted - as a cat - and met Peter Rabbit who gave her an Easter egg. It's a lovely place, just a shame there's nothing like it closer to us. DD often takes her there when she has a hospital appointment in Newcastle.
Eldest DD is off to Prague for the weekend with some friends - it takes just 3 hours on the bus from Nuremburg. They're going on the Flix Bus which is very cheap.
Well I'd better get moving. Hope everyone has a good day today x12 -
Hi everyone,
It's quiet here today with no little ones around. I took them to Stanstead but went into the terminal with them to give Laura a hand (it was very crowded). It cost £18 in the short stay car park because I was just over 30 minutes - mind you it costs £7 just to drop someone off there, they must be raking it in. They're flying back into Luton on Tuesday, it's 20 minutes or so nearer here, they could get the train to Bedford which is nearer still but I'll pick them up at the airport.
It's lovely here today so we need to spend some time in the garden today. I tidied one side of it a couple of weeks ago but the weather has been pants since then.
Have a good day.12
