Major setbacks since last update, car needed over £1100 of works, along with not a fully focused mindset of clearing the debt but I have updated my spreadsheets and created a budget moving forward.0 -
I am guessing with your default you probably can't get any 0% balance transfers. When was your last default? Wondering if worth defaulting your other debts to stop the high interest rates and then save for final settlement quotes.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7000

How does this show on your credit reports? Is it just the default from 2018, or an arrangement to pay?conkerlad said:
I have an arrangement of £50 per month with PRA which is 0%, I accept the responsibility that I owe money, just really irks me that they bought the debt for pennies to the pound. I'd rather be paying Halifax still.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

No my credit isn't good enough to get 0% balance transfers. The defaults on my account drop off 2025 and annoyingly I have a £175 CCJ to a private parking company (that no longer exists so cant even pay it to satisfy) that will drop off in 2026Sarahwithlove said:I am guessing with your default you probably can't get any 0% balance transfers. Default date is back in 2018, Sept 2024 this default will drop off, PRA accepted a £50 per month arrangement. Not really sure what my options are upon the default dropping off the account, I am assuming I need to keep paying otherwise PRA could file a CCJ against me as a second default can't be raised on the same debt, I am guessing?Floss said:
