  • Hello, update since my initial question. We no longer have an office from which to work. The organisation has one small room (approx 6.343 metres cubed that is used by one office based worker and also stores all of our equipment, stationary and printer). Can the organisation still call this an office base if we are not actually able to work there? Thanks

    Yes. They don't have to pay mileage allowances at all.

    I wouldn't consider it moral to do so but they are within their rights to do this.
