Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Air feels warmer this morning. Yesterday was a lovely sunny day although the wind was cold out of the sun.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was LO's from Sunday's roast, tonight will be gammon, salad, pork pie, boiled egg, hot new potatoes etc, anything from the fridge that needs using up.
Work was busy again yesterday and today will be the busiest - but I'm only working until 12.30pm.
Keep safe and well x

Morning folks.Well done Izzy. 👍
My physio appointment was really good. It was an initial consultation with a lovely physio. She gave my very tightly knotted right shoulder, neck and side a deep massage and then used a vibrating machine on them. All very painful but extremely good at the same time. She also gave me some stretching exercises to do whilst waiting for appointments with the gym based physio. I left there feeling much more optimistic about my future and walking a bit easier for a while. So far, so good.As the day was dry I headed off for some shopping. Today is forecasted to be very wet, and indeed has started off that way. Low grey cloud is hiding the sea and the huge island across from me has disappeared too. I'll need to finish off my monthly banking as I got into a real fankle with it yesterday trying to login to one organisation using anothers details. 😱 After that I closed my laptop, ate two biscuits and watched trash TV.TA - such sad about your BFF, it's an awful time all round.
I hope that everyone is doing fine. Happy Wednesday to all.10 -
Morning all
Dry here and the sun is due out later but then rain tonight, I’m off to collect my private client today as I have no clients on a Wednesday for a while so I shall be having him twice a week for a while, we will leave work just after lunch and come home and take the dogs for a walk he loves dogs so will enjoy that.
Dinner tonight is chilli 🌶 and rice, the chilli is already made so just needs heating through and the rice cooking.
Will have a quick tidy through this morning and I have put a wash on, that can go on the line for a while as rain not due till this evening.
TA I am so sorry to hear of how fast your friend is fading it must be so hard for everyone, sending much love to you xx
Have good days all and take care xxx9 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. It feels a much milder start today with no frost but sadly no blue sky or sun either. Yesterday turned out much better than Monday as the nippy wind had dropped so we had a lovely warm sunny day. I even managed a bit of garden tidying when I got home! Bit by bit I will get there!
I was up with the lark this morning as I had booked an Ocado for delivery for 7.30 to 8.30. He was here on the dot at 7.30. It wasnt a big shop, mostly just a top up of all the stuff the DGDs had cleared me out of and a stock up of my favourite wine which was on a good special offer too good to miss!
I enjoyed my lunch out with DF yesterday but it was a bit more of a morose meet up than usual when we were thinking of BFF now so poorly.
Today is bus trip day and mizzle is forecast. Typical after such a lovely day yesterday! It will probably be Skipton again as both bus buddy and I are already drooling over the delicious pie we had last time! Whether the market will at last be fully operational remains to be seen.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. Grr to the lack of co-operation from Last Minute BELLA. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning..Grey and threatening rain here, bit different to yesterdays spring has sprung sun. Good job I did all my out and about jobs yesterday. Today I have been instructed by OH to find some building companies as he is getting impatitnet to get started. I am too, but at the same time, I don't want all the responsibility to fall on me because I am home all the time because if something goes wrong, or I pick the wrong people to do something, it will be my fault, and I think that responsibility should be shared so neither of us can say I told you so. Also, I know I am home all the time but that doesn't mean I'm 100%. He denies it when I ask but I feel that there's a bit of resentment from him for me being at home and him having to work which means everything falls on me to do and I mean everything. So I get a bit resentful too. We're going to have to do some of that understanding where each other is coming from stuff.TA, enjoy your day out with pie. Ruby, hope you have a nice day. Gers, total result then, yay! Izzy, well done, you can't have been as bad as you think
Take care all, today is a changeable one...

Morning all well no sun and chilly but thats ok as its dry DD2 was supposed to be coming tomorrow to drop her dog as they are off to Greece for a week but DGS has a cold and as they need to go back on Friday i was worried that she would get caught in traffic and DH has a rotten cold on the way so i may go up to her and get the dog tomorrow .
The saga of Last minute continues they offered a refund so i accepted stating it should be a full refund lo and behold no when it came through half the money in cash or a voucher and they give you an extra £50 but you only have 48 hrs to choose this option or just the basic price voucher so we are going to take the higher voucher and try to book again wish me luck
Taff I need to warn you as we have been doing building/renovation work there will be issues as goods are not readily available and there are issues left right and blooming centre but if you can distance yourself from the stress its worth it in the end (it has taken a while for me to learn to do this )
TA I have been thinking of you and your BFF x
Gers Sounds like the physio appointment was productive
Izzy Well done on STS thats a win in my book
Dinner tonight gammon steaks with pineapple on top . Have a good day one and all stay safe warm and dry xxxSlava Ukraini9
