MSE Poll: Have you got an electric car?
Comments
-
When choosing a new car, I did look into getting an electric car but I just couldn’t afford it. My petrol Fabia was £12000 new, but most electric cars I looked at were about £35000 so totally unaffordable to me. I realise the cost of electric then (2017) was cheaper than petrol, but is it now?How do I know? For day to day local trips I use a mobility scooter. My mileage for my car so far 11,000 miles in 6 years. I know it would be cheaper to not run a car, but it’s the one little bit of independence I have and my car has a hoist for my mobility scooter ,so is essential for my freedom.0
