Air feels cold this morning.

DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and  enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here.  DS2 settled and happy.

Lunch yesterday was roast pork, some LO's so that will make another meal.

Work today - so will see what mess I've been left with - I've decided that I'll be making a complaint if things that should have been done haven't been. This has been going on over 18 months and supposedly this person has been spoken too at least 2-3 occasions in the past few months - we'll see what it's like when I get in.  I don't like complaining or making a fuss but there's so much that's happened that's impacted the whole team and nothing is being done.

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. It's unpleasant when there is ill feeling amongst work staff. I hope something gets sorted soon.

Where is everybody this morning?!  It's a beautiful start and a lovely sunny day is forecast for most of us. Is everybody already out enjoying the sunshine!

Morning...did I miss a memo or is everyone super busy this morning? Sun is shining, sky is blue, it's fuh fuh fuh cold but so much cheerier to see blue skies. I'll take advanatage and do some washing in a bit. And I will sow my tomato seds, they'll be up in a week..I#ve been watching Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, fascinating programme. I can't help but compare what I do with what it seems i should do and I am very lacking, athough there are things I can and will do if I can work up the nerve...cold shower anyone? And my personal nemesis, fasting... Loved the 86 year old body builder....Today I amgoing to ceep clean the kitchen and bathroom floors and move the cooker and washing machine and dishwasher and clean behind those too.I have only the edging to do on the blanket. I looked at theirs, didn't like it, so changed the colours and put little bobble type things on instead.

snoozer, sounds fantastic! Nels, sorry you're rotten at the moment, I'm hoping for blue skies and warmth for you too. Bella, I was afraid you might feel like that but I haven't anything to compare to, I've never been before, but what an awful waste of organisation, time and money it was. Ruby, hope you're feeling more chipper today, your project sounds interesting. I haven't the patience to do sanding half the time..dp1, it wouldn't hurt if we al i that once in a while, she did make me laugh. Gers, I had to google a qualch, that's one more bit of scottish history I am now conversant with I learn something new all the time from you Take care all especially the mia or unwell...

Morning folks. Holidays are here, the sun may come out and the sky is clear. 

Thanks for starting us off nmlc, sorry to hear that you still have work problems. 

As the weather forecast is showing no rain I'll do a white wash and get it out on the line. I'll need to beat a path through the grass to the whirly. 😀 It's still too sodden to put the mower anywhere near it. 

There's monthly banking to do though some will have to wait until tomorrow, and I want to buy sunflower hearts and peanuts for the birds, they'll need energy for breeding. My fingers are crossed that the beautiful pair of woodpeckers reappear this year. 

I hope that everyone is coping OK. Happy Monday to all.

Morning everyone chilly sunshine here today it’s lovely to see blue skies and meant to warm up I think we are forecast frosty nights and bright days . Taff my son is into all this fasting he looks the picture of health and says he feels great I have missed a few breakfast but that’s as far as it’s got I really should give it a proper try but cold showers NO . I’m not meeting my friend today as it’s school holidays and she has two children we only meet up when they are at school for  a coffee and a chat I have a parcel to pick up at the post office it’s nothing exciting it’s just dog food but I got a good deal on it and another fiver off if I did click and collect I’ve never done it before I’m really behind the times I wouldn’t care when he delivered my mop & bucket it was in the van but the post office is only at the end of the street . Only four days to work for the next two weeks she will be lashing the whip the days we are in . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning all, lovely to see the sun down here in Kent. Gardening planned today for me and nails later. Dinner is sorted, freezer left overs so nice and easy once I’ve finished my gardening.

Morning all its a beautiful sunny morning but cold nothing much to do today just housework a few phone calls  and i think sausage n mash for dinner 
Taff It used to be really good lots of houses to look round and new diy ideas as well as you could buy everything for your home from top to bottom such a shame

Gers Pleased you can go without a visa they are such a pain to do wherever they require one

Morning everyone
Lovely blue sky and sunshine here
No plans today other than having a tidy and doing yesterdays ironing. I might offer to take little one down to the park later if DD has no plans. She loved 'The Bubble Man ' show yesterday...you wouldn't think a man could spend an hour blowing bubbles but he did....huge bubbles, tiny bubbles, bubbles with smaller bubbles inside, really cool coloured bubbles that exploded and steam came out...I'm sure you all get the picture! It was fascinating really.
We then went to Costa for a hot chocolate and a babychino then for a walk round a section of our old walls...we chatted about the English and Scots ( Scotland people as she calls them!) fighting and firing cannons..as you do with a four year old!
DD made tea...then a quick story and I was allowed to go home.

Morning all

I tried to get on earlier but the site would not let me for some reason, I had two phone calls early this morning saying the two ladies due today were both poorly so a day off for me, I still get paid which is good.

Got some washing about to finish which can go on the line, OH managed to mow the lawn yesterday so it looks a bit tidier out there, I must get out there soon and tidy up a bit.

Dinner tonight will either be chilli and rice or taco shells will see what we fancy later, I need to have a tidy round later too.

Taff I started on the sanding of the chair yesterday it’s a beautiful chair lovely oak, but as I started sanding the smell of nicotine hit me 🤢 the people were obviously heavy smokers and I was sanding years and years of nicotine off ! It will be lovely once done but will be a labour of love I feel !

Morning , lovely and bright here. I haven't posted for days. Last weekend we discovered we'd been victims of a fraud  and which led to us being kept very busy with the bank all week, so couldn't face posting. Very stressful and our heads were spinning all week. We just couldn't face eating anything all  that day. Hopefully resolved now, luckily I had a CCard with another bank that worked ok so was able to buy a few necessary bits with that.

We had a trip booked to Wemb1ey yesterday with our team. Luckily everything had already been paid for, coach travel for us and 2DS and match tickets.We met up with DB2 and family. I really wish the DGC could have been there too but they were on holiday   Met quite a lot of people we knew and it was a very joyful occasion, given that the club nearly went out of business just over 3 years ago. It was good to celebrate something after our very bad week! It was a long day - didn't get back until 11, we'd lined up my cousin and  DB1 to come over and feed pooch & spend some time with her, which went ok.

I have been raiding the freezers & cupboard stocks for meals so need to do a check on them, but I think I'll have to have a delivery this week. Never have I been more thankful for my stores!

I have tried to keep up with your news but prob missed some, so hope you're all ok x
