My dear daughter has decided she wants one of these for xmas...thankfully not the lite just the ordinary one...online at currys a around £70 but out of stock...does anyone know of any other cheap deals out there please??

I dont think you can get the ordinary one anymore as the lite is the newest version..

For the difference in price you would probably get just as good deal on the ds lite, amazon have been showing loads after the last few days. John Lewis has had them back in and there is a code floating about for 20% off at JL. They are now becoming easier to get and prices have fallen from what they were 2 weeks ago.

I got my son a ds lite in october from toys r us for £99.99 with a game of his choice and an accessory pack. It depends if she minds waiting till after xmas as they will fall back to this price within a couple of weeks anyway.

I havent seen any normal DS's apart from on ebay.

yeah i can second this... i saw some nintendo ds's in gamestation yesterday also for £69

good luck in finding one, it was the best buy last year for my dd she has played on it so much (and the rest of us too!)
