I saw this article on the proposed reforms to the NHS pension scheme and thought it might be useful.

"Widening access to allow primary healthcare workers – such as GPs, general practice nurses and clinical pharmacists – to join the NHS Pension Scheme. " - GPs have been in the scheme for decades and am pretty sure that the others have too

The NHS Pension Scheme in Scotland is a website is a miasma or jargon and link upon link. Folk just want to be told how much pension they will receive per year if they retire on a certain date - making certain assumptions about what your income etc is - rather than accumulated years and plethora of other numbers rained down - no wonder folk disengage from pension talk.
