Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Not raining at present but rain forecast later in the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was chicken wrapped in bacon, gratin potatoes, veg and gravy. Tonight I'm not sure but will organise when I food shop this morning.
Lots to do today, so will crack on.
Keep safe and well x

Morning everyone and thanks for the start nmlc x
Raining hard here and set to stay for the weekend. We have family coming both days for DHs 50th (don't mix them) so no chance of spreading out into the garden unfortunately. I need to make a shopping list later and will go to the big SM afterwork for buffet bits plus cake!
Glad you got to see your BFF @TravellingAbuela - sounds like she's surrounded by love xx
Short and sweet from me today - I have a hair dye on and need to go wash it out!
Have a good day

Morning folks. There's been a great sunrise today, no sign of rain yet. The dawn chorus was so lovely to hear again.
After my first coffee yesterday I decided to drive down to Glasgow to sort out a couple of small problems and take some stuff to the CS. Left here in chilly low mist and pouring rain, Glasgow had bright blue skies and a very welcome 18°. I was overdressed for it and had to take off two layers. I only did a quick in and out, no shopping at all. 😀 Back here it was still raining so I really appreciated my brief time in the sun.Today I'm going to visit a friend about half an hour away. It'll be a cup of coffee, biscuits and a load of chat. A lot of tourist attractions are opening up this weekend though the local Chinese takeaway is closed for a month. Swings and roundabouts!I hope that the bad weather down south isn't too awful.Coxy - happy 50th to your DH, two days of celebrating sounds lovely if exhausting.Snoozer - get better soon. It's time to look after yourself now.Must get sorted before my 8am call from Australia. Happy Friday to all.14 -
Morning all
Its raining again 🙄 and very windy feels very much like winter! The fire will be lit this afternoon.
Day off for me today which is needed as I am not sleeping well at the moment I was still awake till the early hours Last night, may have a nana nap later.
Im off to have my electrolysis this morning and my nails done this afternoon so a pamper day of sorts, although I don’t enjoy the electrolysis much but it’s working so well worth it.
We have the new wood flooring being delivered today I’m hoping the men will bring it into the house, it can sit in the hallway till next weekend.
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and see what’s in the freezer, might be something simple like egg and chips.
Have good days all and take care xx13 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. What a dank and dark start here with intermittent mizzle. And it feels nippy too. The mild spells don't last long.
I had the girls to sleep last night. I have just waved them off to school and now having a much needed coffee. The usual breakfasts were requested - sausage sandwiches and then pancakes. I had my usual poached egg, despite the sausages smelling very tempting.
Friday Tidy awaits when I can summon up the energy and later the end of month banking. So not a very exciting day in store but needs must.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -

Morning everyone
Wet here too...I hope it cheers up for the school holidays. Work for me at lunchtime then off for 2 weeks. I'm going down to do dads' banking this morning while my mam pops into town for something she forgot yesterday.
I'd better get dressed - I hope everyone has a good day x13 -
Hi everyone,
I'm feeling much better today, my face doesn't feel as if someone has taken a hammer to it.
Esther is lying in her play gym, she can amuse herself for ages in it, she's a very contented baby on the whole. Esben has gone to swimming lessons and Steve to the optician so the house is quite quiet.
Have a good day.

Afternoon..I was awake, I was just being lazy, and doing some crochet too. Two more rows and I can finish it off. I went with the wisdom of starting and finishing with the same colour but I amthrowing caution to the wind and using different colours for the edging. We went for a spontaneous cinema visit last night, we still have three films to watch, Shazam, D&D, john wick... we like viloence, or at least I do and sci fi superhero stuff. Today is a meal out for his aunties big birthday, so I suppose I'd better go and shower and get dressed. I'm just not feeling it today...To be fair, that's most days lately, I've gotten so lazy. It was just extra tablets yesterday, more to deal with low blood pressure, I could have been a sloth in a parallel lifesnoozer, good to hear youre better. coxy, hope the weekend goes swimmingly and both parties go well. Gers, enjoy the tourist attractions sadly without takeaway though...Ruby, is there anything you can do about what you're thinking about that keeps you awake? Izzy, glad your time is going fast on the countdown for next month anyway..dp, enjoy your two weeks off! And anyone else with school holidays...Take care all, including the missing..Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi13
