Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Not raining at present but rain forecast later in the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was a use up of LO's, tonight I'm not sure what we'll be eating, will sort later.
Work busy as tech only sorted yesterday and later today will be a test to see whether it's been properly mended. Early finish day thank goodness, been a bit of a week.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC. Work seems to be a bit of a nightmare for you at the moment, hope they can sort it out soon.
Damp and dreary here like yesterday, it's depressing.
I didn't feel too well yesterday, nothing in particular or serious, just the usual aches and pains but worse than usual, feeling better this morning though.
What a lovely thing to do Camelot.I admire your determination.
TA hope you had your meet up with BFF.
Snoozer you seem to have had an awful day the other day, you'll have been glad to get it over with.
It's hairdo day today, we're only out an hour though. I don't have an elaborate hairstyle and Dh only has a sprinkling now.
Not much else happening except the usual jobs, and sorting some clothes out for going away. If the current weather is any guide, we'll only need waterproofs!
Hope everyone has a good day today, take care folks14 -
Morning All
Still damp and dreary but seems much milder this morning. White was was done last night which is on the pulley.
I had a lovely catch up with friends yesterday after work, ended up taking the little one as DD had some work to do, she was a little star, ate her chips and coloured her little book. DD collected her just as we were finishing. I had a veggie lasagne and it was delicious.
Two more days of work then a glorious fortnight off. I'm usually up before the 6am alarm but the last couple of mornings the alarm has woken me.
Swim again tonight and really must do some housework and take down the birthday cards.
Happy haircut Scarlet.
Hope work is better for you today nmlc.
Hugs to the poorlies.
Take care. XX11 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. CAMELOT thoughts of all that swimming is wearing me out but well done you at sticking at it.
Despite the milder weather it's pretty miserable looking outside with drizzle forecast for most of the day.
My meet up with BFF happened yesterday and it wasn't quite as upsetting I expected. She was accompanied by her DS, DIL and eldest DGD who had flown over from Malta. I know them all and it was a lovely catch up. BFF looked different (thanks to the steroids) and was in a wheelchair (balance now affected) but still had her sense of humour and we were laughing with her. Such a lovely caring family who are doing all they can to make the time she has left comfortable. Her DH stayed home just to have a few hours off from caring. He's a star. Coffee was followed by lunch and altogether we were there about 3 hours. I hope we manage to do it again but time is fast catching up with her now.
Today is stay home day and the usual jobs await. After two days dining out it will be back to cooking too and I need to make some soup for my upcoming lunches. Probably lentil and bacon as I enjoy that the most. Cupboards and freezers are well stocked thanks to my delivery yesterday.
Have a good day all and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -

Morning everyone and thanks for the start nmlc x I hope your tech issues are getting sorted.
I've been MIA as had consecutive office days last week Wed/Thur then DH and I went to Marrakech for his big birthday. Got home Tuesday and then I was in work yesterday for a staff event at an outside venue. Timing could not have been worse and had a few tech issues to deal with. Also ended up compering the event WITH A MICROPHONE which was so far out of my comfort zone I could feel myself turning grey right there. Anyway it's done now thank the lord.
Marrakech was lovely and we would love to go back to Morocco and visit Fez and/or Casablanca as sure that would be interesting.
Glad you got to meet up with BFF @TravellingAbuela x
Well done on the STS @IzzyBee - hope you get a loss this week x
Hope you're feeling better @-taff - I never had issues with legroom as I'm barely 5' !!
Glad you got the dental appointment out of the way @snoozer and hope you're feeling brighter today after your rest x
Sorry to miss anyone's news from last week - hope you're all doing okay.

Hi everyone,
I'm glad you managed to see your friend TA.
Coxy, well done on the event, not my favourite thing either public speaking.
I'm lurching from one thing to another atm. I am full of cold (the joys of living with a nursery attending toddler) and my whole face feels as if it is pulsing with it. I told Laura I had man flu yesterday because I ended up sleeping most of the day away. Gone are the days when I dosed myself up with pills and soldiered on through work and childcare.
Steve made dinner last night (scouse, which we hadn't had for ages) and he made a really good job of it.
I've been awake since 4.00 so I think I might try to get a bit more sleep now.
have a good day.12 -
Morning all
Damp and drizzling here and rain set in for the day when will the rain ever stop ! I’m off to collect my private client today and take him to work, his other carer is leaving this Friday as she is moving to Spain soon so we are hoping he can come over to me four days a week, we are just waiting for the ok from his social worker, he is a joy to have and the extra money will come in handy so I hope it all comes off.
Sausage and mash for dinner tonight dd is off today so will prepare the potatoes and veg later, I have a wash on the go and will hang it on the airer before I leave.
We are hoping to go back to my beloved Greek island in July I could really do with some sun and two weeks of doing nothing but what we want to do which is mainly swimming and snorkelling with a bit of quad biking thrown in 😃
TA I’m so happy that you got to see your friend bless her I am thinking of her a lot xxx
Have good days all and take care xx12 -

Morning....still raining..I've decided the blanket is more or less finished, I'm going to miss out the last twenty rows, it's quite impressively large enough without them, I can wrap it around me with plenty to spare and my cousin is tiny so she'll drown in it. Heart blokey today to see what new things I can rattle with today. He did tell me something interesting last time, he was saying about a guy who didn't have a heart, but had a centrfugal pump fitted, which I found fascinating. Imagine that, how cool is science to have substituted a valve pumping system with a centrifugal one...The house could do with a hoover but I haven't charged it for a while so half a hoover is on the cards I expect. OH took the other one upstairs by mistake so I'll have ot wait for him to bring it down again. And he was going to go for an impromptu week away with a friend but has discovered his passport ran out last year [!] - he went for a haircut for his new photos and oh dear, I don't know why he keeps going back there, it looks not very nice at all. They keep giving him a center parting and curtains...Never mind, it grows so quick it'll be long again in no time.Coxy, how lovely to whisk him away for a weekend of sun and colour! And 5 ft? Funny how you imagine people, with the running and stuff, i imagined you taller..
makes the running more impressive..snoozer, glad you're giving in to the lurgy and sleeping...Scarlet, know what you mean..A little tiny bit of sun has just shown it's face and amazingly, I feel more positive when I see it..TA, glad you got to meet up with her, hopefully you can do it again. Ruby, fingers crossed for a new clienttimetable and how lovely for her to be moving to Spain too...take care all, the hundred and the less than a hundred percents...
