If someone is part time, however works full time for 2 months (as a 1off for training), would they then be entitled to more holiday hours than what they would get for just being part time?
I've looked online, but it just says 'regular overtime', whereas this isn't regular, but it is for a number of weeks.
Thank you.

How is that full-time period being dealt with for salary? what does the agreement to be full-time say?
I think that additional holiday would be due, and where I'd work that would either be set out in the letter we'd send, OR we'd get them to claim additional hours, and we pay holiday pay separately on top of overtime.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

The salary is paid as overtime, a month in arrears.
It was at the start of employment for training purposes, and now on usual part time hours.
Only agreement was a part time contract with a note that full time would be required for training (was a cohort of around 20 people all starting at same time). Completed the training, now everyone is off on their contacted hours.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Well, I'm no expert, but I'd say that yes, additional holiday would be due, on a pro rata basis. That would be set out in writing for us, but I guess the next question would be, how do you book holiday? Does that give you a record of your entitlement, and what you've got left? What does that look like, is the additional leave in fact there for the booking?

The amount of holiday is correct, if it were all part time. But short if it were to have full time allocation for the training period.
Before I mentioned it, I wanted to be sure of my facts, but all I could find on the .Gov website was if overtime was regular.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0
