Had a 95% chance of an AA loan for £20K at 5%, my credit rating via the MoneySavingExpert dashboard of 99%.  I was accepted but at 12%!  As a person who has great credit history how on earth did I offered 12% while at least 51% have to be offered the 5%?  I find that very strange.
Then looked at MNBA at 5.7% and confirmed immediately.

You're just less attractive a risk than the other applicants through the channel you used to apply, based on AA critieria.
Your 99% rating isn't of any relevance when it comes to assessing acceptance.3
