So, out of ..the likes of..Creation, Sainsburys, Tesco yadda yadda...any thoughts on which company more likely to take pity and give out a loan?

None will 'take pity'. Firstly because they're commercial operations, but also because they'd be hammered by the FCA for lending to people who can't afford it.
Start with the DFW boards and outline your situation. They'll give you advice on managing your debts. More borrowing is not going to be the solution.13 -

No one is giving lectures. I appreciate that you will be sensitive to some of the advice, but it is given by many people with the best of intentions.
Whilst is is difficult, you need to take the emotion out of your situation.4 -
