Is anyone here with Scottish Power SEG?
I'm currently with Octopus SEG paying 4.1p and that is the best I can get since I am on an EV tariff and not keen on their flux tariff, next best paying SEG is Scottish Power SEG which pays 12p which is 3 times more than Octopus.
Only things I don't like about it is they pay once every 6 months and looking at their trustpilot page it's all negative reviews which is kind of off putting.
Anyone here with personal experience with them? Thanks

Our FIT is with Scottish power. We're still on the original scheme with deemed export so can't comment on their SEG scheme.
However, it may be relevant to note that they're relatively slow in paying out after submission of meter readings : usually get cash in bank 2 to 3 weeks after claiming. OTOH there may be some companies who would only dream of a 3 week turn around !NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq51 -
Personally I'd avoid Scottish Power like the plague - they may be ok when everything is going fine but god help you if you need to contact them.Debt Free Wannabe by 1 March 2026

For me personally I would need to generate 20kwh a day to break even compared to using Octopus Go, and I don't get enough sun yet to generate that.
At the moment getting about 10kwh average which means I would be making a loss, I know it will be different in Summer and would be generating a lot more.0 -
Got our solar panels oct 2022. Finally got details from Scottish Power to let us register for payment. According to user manual, in the registration process you will be directed to a screen showing “Conditions of Use” which you have to accept before you can register your bank details. The screen came up without showing conditions of use - has anyone else had this issue and how was it resolved. Have sent numerous emails to Scottish Power and Seg@scottishpower - radio silence from them. Any help much appreciated0

@vienly - unless you want to enter into a world of pain avoid Scottish Power like the plague. Quite possibly the worst run company operating in the UK at the moment - and it's a pretty crowded field!

I've finally managed to register my bank details. Now I am trying to enter my export reading as application etc has pretty much taken 6 months and now it is saying my reading is invalid. I'm providing the export figure, my meter is one that cycles through imp, exp, other so I'm sure I have the correct figure but of course I can't contact Scottish Power SEG to talk to anyone.
Anyone got any ideas why my 00049.5 reading would be incorrect?0
